Since the start of the Pandemic, the Columbians have taken every step possible to look after the safety and wellbeing of our members, staff, and supporters.  As difficult as it was, that included canceling our 2020 season.

The board of directors have been working diligently behind the scenes planning for a possible 2021 return while keeping a close eye on the latest developments mandated by our state and local health department.

Working under the guidance of Drum Corps International and our local Department of Health, we are working on plans that will allow us to safely return to the field.  This plan includes minimal viable conditions, testing & contact tracing, testing guidelines, food safety, and more.

While this season will undoubtedly be different than what we are used to, we want to announce a modified 2021 Summer Experience.  Auditions we be done virtually in April and May with in person All Days starting on June 21st.  We have a local Pasco performance on July 5th where we are looking forward to debuting our brand new horn line!  Local health restrictions will dictate whether the performance will be open to the public or closed and live broadcast.

As our state and local health departments update the guidelines for performing arts ensembles, we will update exactly how we move forward with keeping everybody safe.

If you would like to join us for our 2021 Summer Experience, visit for more information.

It’s time for drum corps and the live arts to make a safe and healthy return to the field.
